Munich, February 28, 2024 – At this year’s DMEA digital health trade fair in Berlin, Munich-based value-added distributor Concept International will be showcasing robust and powerful medical computers and tablets from the DT Research and FuturePAD brands for the provision of medical data at the point of care. The range is aimed at partners and resellers for reliable and long-lasting use in hospitals, clinics, surgeries and emergency services.

From April 9 to 11, 2024, visitors to the Concept International stand C-109 in Hall 1.2 will be able to find out all about the mobile medical PCs and tablets from DT Research and FuturePAD. The devices are specially developed for medical use, certified according to the IEC 60601 standard and are antimicrobial and detergent-resistant. This year’s trade fair highlights at DMEA 2024 include:

Medical All-In-One PCs for ward trolleys

The DT58x series All-In-One PCs from DT Research enable both stationary and mobile use on ward rounds and care trolleys. Thanks to their antimicrobial coating, smooth rear housing with IPX2 protection class, IP65-protected front and EN60601-1 certification, they meet the hygiene and safety requirements for the medical sector and are easy to clean. Three powerful “hot swap” batteries with a minimum runtime of 14 to 16 hours, which can be changed during operation, ensure uninterrupted use. The batteries are a standardized form factor that is used in all DT devices. The search for the “right” energy storage unit is therefore a thing of the past – it always fits.

The All-In-One PC series (DT581, DT582 and DT584) is available in various performance and size levels with capacitive touchscreens (19.5, 22.5 or 23.8 inch screen diagonal), a working memory of between 8 and 64 GB, as well as Intel processors from the energy-saving Pentium Gold or Core i series (i5, i7, i9).

The DT584 model is particularly slim and lightweight with a frame width of just 4.2 cm and a maximum weight of 7.9 kg including all three optional batteries. The AIO PC can also be used as a power bank with a 12, 15 or 19 V connection to power up to three additional devices such as a monitor, vital signs monitor, label printer or scanner.

Medical tablets: from pocket size to a generous 17 inches

The robust, fully rugged 10.1-inch FPQ10 tablet from FuturePAD is the thinnest device in its class at 10 mm and fits in any lab coat pocket thanks to its slim and compact dimensions. This means that medical professionals always have the most important data to hand. The pocket-sized medical tablet is available as a Windows version or with Android 12 for extra energy efficiency and performance.

At DMEA 2024, Concept will also be showcasing the DT373 from DT Research, a 17-inch tablet – the largest screen diagonal available for medical tablets. This makes it particularly suitable for displaying sophisticated imaging procedures or a lot of information at a glance. A 13th generation Intel Core i processor ensures powerful, energy-efficient performance. The medical tablet also has hot-swappable batteries, a chip card reader, optional 4G or 5G and a VESA 75 device for mounts with a total weight of 2 kg.

Touch monitor for mobile use

The DT722/724 medical grade monitor from DT Research with a 24 or 27 inch capacitive touch display enables mobile use with its own power supply thanks to the familiar, high-performance hot-swap batteries. A power connection for the screen is therefore no longer necessary. On request, it is available with DC output management for third-party devices and can supply third-party devices such as mini PCs, scanners and vital data devices with power as a “power bank” with one connection each for 12, 15 and 19 V. Other features include integrated WiFi, numerous connections such as three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and USB-B input as well as an optional front camera, which enables secure user authentication, for example.

Battery pack for mobile power supply

The triple Li-Ion battery pack in a compact and sturdy aluminum battery holster offers a simple and practical solution for the mobile power supply of devices on new, but also on existing older ward and care trolleys. The box can be securely attached thanks to flexible screw fastening options. The mobile low-voltage battery management system with one 12, 15 and 19 V output each enables up to three devices to be powered simultaneously. Each individual battery provides 90 W at 8250 mAh. The charge status of the batteries can be conveniently read at any time via a flexible LED cable.
