Munich, October 14, 2022 – Concept International is setting a new standard in all-in-one PCs for on-site, pinpoint medical information with the DT584 and DT582 from DT Research. Despite having up to three hot-swappable batteries for continuous operation, the Medical PC is extremely slim at 4 cm and lightweight at 7.9 kg – with three batteries. The computer offers a good price-performance ratio by integrating powerful and energy-efficient 10th generation Intel Pentium Gold or Core i CPUs in a fanless, robust and compact housing. The Micro-PC features display outputs as well as USB, RS232, network and audio connections. The AiO computer is available with 22 or 24 inches, it is certified for medical use, maintenance-free and, as before, available with short delivery times.
The reliable medical panel PC, powered by 10th generation Pentium Core i processors or Pentium Gold CPUs, is available with 24 (DT584) and 22 inch (DT582) screen diagonals. Even the smallest details, for example on an X-ray image, can be recognized effortlessly and enlarged with multi-finger gestures in the best quality. If necessary, the PC also supports the connection of another monitor in 4K resolution for even more overview.
The working memory offers at least 8 GB and a maximum of 64 GB RAM for smooth working, even under heavy load. Large amounts of data are available on-site on up to 4 TB of flash storage.
The exterior: Robust and antimicrobial
The elaborate medical certification of the AiO PCs, which are only 4 cm thin and very light at a maximum of 7.9 kg, guarantees impact resistance as well as protection of the housing. Antimicrobial surfaces of both the case and the capacitive touch monitor are a matter of course.
Intelligent battery solution: no more downtime due to charging
With the VESA mount, the PC can be easily mounted on all standard ward or ward round trolleys. DT582 and DT584 also score with a modern, independent power supply. Up to three internal rechargeable batteries can be changed individually and during operation at any time. They are recharged with a compact charging station and are thus available at any time. Downtimes due to lack of energy or “refueling” no longer exist.
Many interfaces for the heterogeneous IT landscape
Many interfaces, including two classic COM ports, fast WiFi6 or a reader for NFC and RFID chips, for example for fast, uncomplicated authentication, take account of the heterogeneous technology landscape in medicine. User identification can also be optionally performed via a full HD front camera. This makes it particularly easy to protect sensitive information, for example when updating patient data. Older printers can be connected via COM ports, as can a second monitor via the HDMI port. DT582 and DT584 even have an LED reading lamp built into the frame – perfect for usage in lower ambient light environment like hospital bedrooms.
Short delivery times, German support and in-house repair service
In addition to short delivery times, Concept International not only offers German support for quick assistance, but also its own in-house repair service should a problem arise. On top of that, there is a warranty period of three years for the fanless computer, which is also not common in the industry and can even be extended to up to six years as an option.
