Munich, Germany, October 21, 2022 – DT Research’s DT504 and DT507 all-in-one PCs offer space-saving solutions for medical staff to monitor, record and retrieve patient data, as well as for other point-of-care (POCT) applications. The 24- or 27-inch TFT LCD displays deliver images in full HD (1920×1080 pixels), with optional 4K resolution available. The fanless, energy-efficient systems impress with an elegant, user-friendly tablet design with capacitive touchscreen. They are optionally installed on business trolleys with batteries by means of a standard Vesa mount or used on the desk with a stand. The hardware equipment of the DT504 and DT507 can be individually configured for the respective requirements in terms of processor, monitor resolution, memory or power supply. Intel processors from the Core-i family or the Pentium Gold series are optionally used as CPUs. Both systems are completely maintenance-free and run Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu. The AIO PCs are available immediately from Munich-based value added distributor Concept International.

All-round safety, ergonomics and electromagnetic compatibility

DT504 and DT507 are certified according to EN 60601-1 and EN 60601-1-2 and thus meet the legal requirements for safety, ergonomics and electromagnetic compatibility in the medical field. Thanks to the antimicrobial-coated, detergent-resistant and aluminum-alloyed back, both systems remain hygienically flawless even if pathogens are present. The housing is effectively protected against water droplets to IPX2, while the front of the PCs is waterproof and dustproof to IP65.

The TFT LCD displays deliver razor-sharp images in full HD resolution – optionally also 4K -while the bright, capacitive touchscreens are easy to read even in direct light, for example under bright hospital lighting or in the operating room.

Technically fit for demanding clinical tasks

Both systems can be optionally equipped with different 10th generation Intel CPUs or Pentium Gold processors. The main memory can be upgraded to up to 64 GB if required. With flash-based memory, up to 4 TB is possible for particularly data-intensive applications. This ensures effective, smooth operations for all supported clinical tasks such as monitoring, recording and retrieving patient data or further applications from POCT diagnostics.

The integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interfaces ensure fast data access and efficient workflow for hospital staff. A front camera and RFID reader for authenticating patients or a smart card reader, for example for access control, are optionally available.

DT504 and DT507 include standard interfaces for Ethernet, four USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and three COM ports. All ports are protected against mutual electrostatic discharge (ESD) between PC and human.

Backup protection in case of power interruption

The optional UPS battery provides reliable backup protection to briefly power the system in the event of a power interruption. Power outages and voltage fluctuations pose major risks, especially for hospitals. For example, an unexpected system crash can result in the loss of vital patient data, among other things.
